It’s that special time of the year again! Time for pumpkin patches and horror movies and, at least in my neighborhood, exceptionally giant skeletons standing around front yards. Skeletons that are almost as tall as the houses…I commend my neighbors for this spectacular celebration of creepiness!

The Halloween issue is one of our favorite issues and Rebecca and I enjoyed reading the many submissions we received. And now we’re excited to share our Halloween 2022 contributors and their stories with you. We hope, over the next few days as Halloween draws near, you’ll take some time and dig into these dark and strange stories. If you feel the room go cold; if you feel the hair on the back of your neck stand up; if the light suddenly goes out—remember, you’re not alone.
