New York

Artist’s Statement
My process can be best compared to a road trip with no specific destination, with an emphasis not on the final product itself but in the journey it takes to get there. I don’t have a specific process for creating my work, rather I explore my environment and the emotions around me through the art I make. Something I enjoy in art and photography is capturing candid moments, moments others might pass by without glancing twice, and finding unexpected beauty in my surroundings. One example of this is my exploration of graffiti and street art in New York. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to find the same wonder and new perspective that I have when looking at my surroundings.
